You will be responsible for:

  • Forming, maintaining and developing the long-term technological direction of the organization's data platform architecture, ensuring its compatibility with the organization's IT architecture principles;
  • Designing and coordinating data platform architectural solutions, including data collection, integration, transformation, storage, analytics and presentation;
  • Establishing data engineering standards, best practices and technological principles and ensuring their application across the organization;
  • Evaluating technological solutions and architectural alternatives, contributing to the modernization of the data platform and the implementation of cloud technologies;
  • Integrating data governance, security, access control, quality and performance principles into architectural solutions;
  • Evaluating and implementing advanced data engineering practices, including automation, CI/CD, observability, DataOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
  • collaboration with architects and teams from other fields, consulting on architecture and data modeling issues and providing expert recommendations;
  • training data engineers and strengthening data engineering competencies in the organization.

What we expect from you:

  • higher education in IT, computer science, data engineering or a related field;
  • at least 5 years of professional experience in the fields of data engineering, data platforms or data architecture, including practical experience in designing and developing data platforms or analytics solutions used at the organization level;
  • deep knowledge of data architecture, modeling, data warehouses and lakehouse architecture principles;
  • strong SQL knowledge, experience working with large amounts of data, designing reliable, scalable and efficient data flows and transformations;
  • practical experience working with data processing, orchestration and modern data platform technologies (e.g. dbt, Airflow, S3, Iceberg, Trino/Starburst, Kafka, PostgreSQL or similar solutions);
  • experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), familiar with the principles of "cloud-native" architecture and applying CI/CD, automation, monitoring and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices;
  • knowledge of data governance, data quality, security and access control principles;
  • ability to evaluate technological alternatives, make architectural decisions at the organization level and clearly present them to both technical and business teams;
  • good knowledge of technical English.

We offer you:

  • salary depending on your competencies and experience. DU range: 4640 - 6960 EUR (gross);
  • hybrid work model 3 + 2: 3 working days in the office and 2 working days remotely;
  • workplace in Vilnius, Žalgirio g. 90;
  • additional benefits package: health insurance, 6 additional days off per year and budget for professional development.
