Nature of work

  • assess the compliance of newly connected power plant mathematical models with connection conditions and test results by performing simulation calculations;
  • perform an assessment of the dynamic stability of the power system using the mathematical model of the Lithuanian EES;
  • automate data processing and calculation processes using the Python programming language;
  • develop, implement and maintain technical and software tools ensuring the stability of the Lithuanian power system;
  • analyze and display the parameters of the Lithuanian power system, create reports;
  • monitor the latest technological trends and tools in the field of assessing the stability of the power system, analyze their application possibilities in the company;
  • develop, test and document calculation algorithms according to established engineering methodologies and standards;
  • perform an analysis of the flexibility needs of the power system and prepare reports with conclusions and recommendations.

Employee requirements

  • higher education in electrical engineering (electrical engineering) or fundamental sciences (can be a student);
  • knowledge of static and dynamic processes of the electrical power system;
  • ability to quickly absorb information;
  • understanding of the logic of Python (or other programming) language, basics;
  • good MS Office skills;
  • technical knowledge of English (understand/read technical literature in English);
  • analytical thinking, diligence, responsibility.

Advantages:

  • skills in working with MATLAB/Simulink software package;
  • control systems modeling skills: reading, interpreting and adjusting control logics.

Offered remuneration:

2800 - 3300 EUR (including taxes), depending on competencies and experience.
