About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Lottery Systems Department. You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of one of our core business systems and for reviewing new releases before go-live. This includes validating business requirements, investigating how changes impact data and processes, and ensuring the system is ready for production use. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting business-critical applications. As this position is temporary (covering person on maternity leave), willingness to learn and grow as a specialist is key.
What you will do (www.loto.lt and its subsystems)
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g. Digital, IT, Finance)
- Analyze business requirements and identify potential risks, gaps, or inconsistencies
- Support clear communication between business users and technical teams during changes, incidents, and releases
- Communicate with external vendors and service providers supporting core business platforms
- Coordinate implementation, testing, and issue resolution activities with third-party partners
- Maintain ongoing relationships with external system providers and ensure timely follow-up on requests and incidents
- Provide first- and second-line support
- Review and validate new system releases prior to go-live, ensuring existing functionality keeps working as expected
- Investigate system issues, data discrepancies, and process deviations, identifying root causes where possible
- Analyze how changes impact data flows, reporting, and operational processes
We’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in application support, business systems analysis, QA or a similar role
- Experience working with databases (e.g. writing queries, understanding data structures, data flows)
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work across multiple systems and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving
- Excellent Lithuanian and English communication skills (written and spoken)
