Your main responsibilities will be:
- Organize and perform monitoring measurements of air, water, wastewater and other pollution sources, analyze results and prepare mandatory reports;
- Prepare, coordinate and maintain environmental permits, ensure their timely renewal;
- Participate in inspections and sampling conducted by institutions, assess environmental projects, provide recommendations;
- Keep records of waste, packaging and other flows in the GPAIS system, ensure data accuracy and timely submission;
- Fill in and submit declarations on emissions, fuel, solvent use and other mandatory records;
- Control the use of chemical substances, check compliance with legal acts, provide recommendations and inform departments about non-compliance;
- Perform regular internal inspections, record non-compliances, provide proposals for improving the environmental status;
- Prepare letters, orders, procedures, coordinate the harmonization of documents, make proposals for improving environmental processes and the application of legal acts;
- Organize training for employees, consult departments on environmental issues.
Place of work: Liepų g. 68, Klaipėda.
To succeed in this position you will need:
- Higher education in the field of ecology, environmental protection;
- At least 1 year of work experience in the field of environmental protection;
- Experience working with environmental accounting, GPAIS system or preparation of environmental reports;
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian, English / Russian - an advantage;
- Good computer skills (MS Office);
- Responsibility, teamwork, initiative and desire to contribute to the improvement of environmental processes in the organization.
