We are currently looking for a Head of Expedition Department, who would establish an expedition department in the company and organize transportation in Western European countries for our own and contract transport.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop an expedition department from the ground up;
- Prepare and implement a data- and performance-based expedition strategy for organizing cargo transportation in Western European countries;
- Form a team, select, train and motivate employees;
- Take care of searching for cargo on transport exchanges and develop long-term relationships with customers and carriers;
- Organize and coordinate transportation both with own transport and using contract carriers;
- Search for contract carriers, control the quality of their services;
- Create, implement and improve expedition processes, performance standards and performance indicators (KPIs);
- Administer documents related to cargo transportation and ensure smooth cooperation with other company departments;
- Analyze performance results and initiate solutions designed to increase the growth and profitability of the department.
Expectations for the employee
- At least 3 years of work experience in the field of international freight forwarding;
- Experience in creating, developing or leading a freight forwarding department or team (an advantage);
- Experience in organizing international freight transportation in Western Europe;
- Own network of contacts with clients and carriers and the ability to effectively expand it;
- Ability to independently organize work, make decisions and take responsibility for results.
