About us:
We are looking for an Expedition Manager to join our expedition team and be responsible for the sales, realization and profitable organization of transportation of cargoes attracted by the sales team.
In this position, you will work closely with the sales team - you will receive the transport needs of their clients, evaluate the cargoes, formulate offers, negotiate with carriers and ensure that each received cargo is properly and profitably realized.
This is not a classic expedition position - finding clients and their cargoes is not your main task. Your responsibility is to take the cargo brought by the sales team, find the best transportation solution for it and ensure its profitable realization.

What your working day will look like:
- You will receive and evaluate the cargo needs of customers transmitted by the sales team.
- You will calculate the cost of transportation, evaluate market prices and form competitive offers.
- You will sell and sell the received cargo, aiming for the maximum possible margin.
- You will search for suitable carriers, negotiate prices and transportation conditions.
- You will organize and coordinate cargo transportation from order to delivery.
- You will cooperate closely with sales managers and help them promptly respond to customer transport inquiries.
- You will resolve emerging situations and ensure smooth execution of orders.
- You will monitor the transport market, price changes and look for the most effective ways to sell the cargo brought by the sales team.
- You will be responsible not only for smooth transportation, but also for the profitability of each cargo.
What do we expect from you:
- Have at least 2 years of experience in forwarding, transport or logistics.
- Have a good understanding of the principles of transport pricing and know how to calculate margins.
- Are strong in negotiations - both with carriers and when negotiating prices and conditions.
- Are able to quickly assess the situation, make decisions and act independently.
- Are focused on results, sales and profitability, not just on order fulfillment.
- Are communicative and able to smoothly cooperate with sales and forwarding teams.
- Are responsible, organized and do not get lost while managing several loads at the same time.
- Have good English language skills for working with foreign clients and carriers.
