We hope you:
- You are curious and interested in various fields of science. We invite those who are currently studying or already have an education in physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, health sciences, engineering, pedagogy, urban planning or environmental protection to join the team, or are simply passionate about these topics and want to share their knowledge with others.
- You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to adapt to different audiences – you can easily and understandably explain complex topics to visitors of all ages.
- You like to help others learn and discover new things: you are helpful, patient and like to answer visitors' questions, helping them experience the joy of discovery.
- You are responsible, independent and can organize your time and tasks according to established guidelines, but also have creative problem-solving skills.
- You are able to remain calm and constructive even in stressful situations;
- You communicate well in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage.
Nature of work:
- Actively involve visitors to the SCIENCE ISLAND in interactive science and technology exhibits, in order not only to enrich the visitors' experience, but also to promote interest in science and technology.
- Communicate politely and culturally with visitors, answer their questions and present exhibits of interest in detail (SCIENCE ISLAND presents seven main topics: human body and health, food, nature and environment, waste and pollution, energy, transport, communication).
- Monitor visitor behavior to ensure that exhibits are used properly and safely, as well as to ensure the safety of both exhibits and visitors.
- Learn and independently perform various science demonstrations, conduct education, contributing to the successful implementation of SCIENCE ISLAND programs and exhibits.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the exhibition goals, in order for visitors to experience scientific curiosity and the joy of discovery.
- Work on weekdays and weekends (Tuesdays - Sundays), the work schedule is made taking into account individual capabilities.

Here, visitors can enjoy a long-term exhibition with 140 objects, a modern planetarium, STEAM laboratories, and various cultural and educational activities. "Science Island" is gathering an ambitious team of specialists who will contribute to the organization of the center's activities.
