The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (hereinafter referred to as the LMTA) is looking for an electrician, workload – 1 full-time position.
Nature of work
- Ensure the proper functioning of electrical networks necessary for the work of the LMTA, perform simple electrical installation repairs;
- Ensure the utilization of used lighting lamps;
- Protect work tools and equipment;
- Perform auxiliary work: manually carry, load, unload cargo;
- Work in neat, hygienic work clothes;
- Carry out other management assignments that do not contradict the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
Requirements
- Have a special secondary or vocational education confirming the qualifications acquired by him/her, necessary to perform the functions provided for in this job description;
- have a valid certificate issued by the State Energy Regulatory Council (VERT) for the operation of electrical installations up to a voltage of at least 1000 V or for the operation of electrical networks and equipment up to a voltage of at least 1000 V (an advantage);
- at least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance work;
- have a good understanding of the basics of electrical engineering, basic data on direct and alternating current;
- know the methods and means of servicing and repairing electrical lighting networks and be able to apply them;
- know the methods and sequence of installation and repair of electrical equipment and devices and be able to apply this knowledge in practice;
- know the main types, properties and purpose of electrical materials;
- to know the working principles and structure of electric motors and devices, generators, transformers, switching and input equipment, batteries, switches, contacts;
- to be able to determine the causes of various failures;
- to know the types of work equipment and tools, and how to store them;
- to be familiar with safety and health at work, fire safety requirements;
- to speak Lithuanian;
- to be hardworking, meticulous, responsible, able to communicate and work in a team.
