Nature of work

  • contribute to the transformation of electricity metering systems and the transition from the existing to the new system, participate in planning, coordinating and implementing solutions related to this change;
  • organize and coordinate the work activities of electricity metering equipment engineers: ensure the performance of functions and the achievement of results;
  • ensure the implementation of electricity metering legal acts and company requirements in facilities under construction and reconstruction;
  • coordinate and respond to changes in legal acts regulating electricity metering and the installation of its facilities and their feasibility;
  • prepare technical requirements for the equipment used in electricity metering of the 400/330/110/10 kV electricity transmission network and its data collection, typical and atypical solutions for its implementation;
  • prepare tasks for the design of the construction and reconstruction of the company's energy facilities and the conditions for connecting customers to the electricity transmission network, assess and coordinate technical working projects for electricity metering of newly constructed and reconstructed transformer substations;
  • to be interested in the latest developments and innovations in equipment used for electricity metering and data transmission, as well as their collection systems, and to analyze the possibilities of applying them in the company.

Employee requirements

  • higher or equivalent engineering education: in electrical engineering, electrical engineering, automation or electronics;
  • experience in coordinating engineering teams, ensuring timely implementation of projects and tasks;
  • ability to understand and analyze electrical diagrams of energy facilities, know the principles of operation of equipment used for electricity metering (IEC 62053, IEC 62056, IEC 61869) and equipment for data transmission (IEC 62056, IEC 60870-5-104) and be familiar with them;
  • good MS Office skills;
  • technical knowledge of English (B2 level);
  • experience in communicating with customers and representing the company;
  • responsibility, diligence, organization, initiative;
  • driver's license (category B).

Advantages

  • Experience in designing and coordinating EEA or data acquisition systems in transformer substations of the electricity transmission/distribution network;
  • at least several years of experience in managing employees/project teams;
  • 2 years of experience working in secondary circuits of electrical installations with measurement and information collection and transmission equipment (controllers);
  • work experience in electricity or other organizations with digital accounting systems;
  • knowledge of the installation, testing volumes and norms of electronic electricity accounting and measuring devices and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania on the operation of electrical installations;
  • Qualification of an electrical engineering worker in the Civil Engineering Department.

Offered remuneration:

3500–4300 EUR (taxes included), depending on competences and experience.
