Role overview:

The Farmer Relations Manager is responsible for building, maintaining and improving long‑term relationships with agricultural supply chains in Lithuania, ranging from farmers to processors, traders and other intermediaries. The role combines relationships management, consultative approach, partners support and daily communication, both online and in the field.​

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with agricultural supply chains actors participating in InSoil’s carbon farming program.​
  • Manage a portfolio of farms: regular follow‑ups, farmer support, and guidance on implementing regenerative practices and using the program benefits.​
  • Actively enlarging InSoil’s partnerships with agricultural stakeholders across Lithuania (meetings, industry events, social media, referrals).​​
  • Organise and co‑host online activities (webinars, consultations, profitability analyses) together with Agronomists.​
  • Participate in on‑farm visits, field days and agricultural events.​
  • Keep CRM records up to date and report on activities and target achievement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within Lithuanian agricultural supply chains entities including but not limited to farmers (sales, advisory, service, agronomy or similar).
  • Practical experience in the agricultural sector; agricultural education is a strong plus.
  • Very good command of English (min. B2), used on a daily basis in an international team.​
  • Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication and a solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build trust‑based relationships with farmers and to explain complex topics in a simple and practical way; genuine motivation to help farmers improve their soil health.
  • Category B driving licence and readiness to travel across Lithuania.
