We are looking for a Financial Controller to join Controlling Team in Vilnius.

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join Controlling Team in Vilnius.
Responsibilities
- Manage period-end closing activities and validate the accuracy and completeness of financial results.
- Analyze profit and loss and balance sheet movements, investigate significant variances.
- Investigate accounting issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide accounting guidance and support on complex or non-standard transactions.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are regularly reviewed, outstanding items are followed up and resolved.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide clear analysis of actual results against budget and forecast.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure high-quality financial data and compliance with applicable accounting principles and company requirements.
- Monitor recurring accounting and reporting issues and proactively identify areas where processes, controls, or practices should be improved.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Support stakeholders in finance processes, maintain value-adding relationships with them.
- Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities.
- Participate in finance projects and the development of new tools and reporting solutions.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, controlling, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of period-end closing, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- High level of responsibility and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Customer-oriented mindset and effective cooperation skills in a cross-cultural organization.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
- Experience with SAP or other accounting systems and databases is an advantage.
- A proactive approach to learning, process improvement, and change.
