The company is inviting a Head of the Financial Accounting Department to join the team in Klaipėda.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS POSITION?

  • You will ensure smooth organization, control and compliance of the accounting processes of the group of companies with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and accounting standards.
  • You will form and supervise the implementation of the accounting policy of the group of companies.
  • You will organize accounting processes, initiate their standardization, optimization and decisions on centralization of functions.
  • You will ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to management and institutions.
  • You will coordinate the audit process and ensure the submission of the necessary financial information.
  • You will organize the preparation and submission of tax and statistical declarations to state institutions.
  • You will consult colleagues on accounting issues and ensure the accuracy of accounting data.
  • You will form, motivate and develop a financial accounting team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education in accounting, finance, economics.
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a chief accountant in a large company or group of companies.
  • Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and accounting in accordance with international accounting standards.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating corporate accounting.
  • Analytical thinking, responsibility, initiative and result orientation.
