Financial Reporting Controller in Vilnius

We are currently recruiting a Financial Reporting Controller in Vilnius. In this position, you will contribute to the accurate and timely preparation of financial information, control of reporting processes and their continuous improvement.

What will your work day look like?

• Financial Reporting: You will prepare and check financial statements and their annexes, ensure the accuracy of the data provided and compliance with the established requirements
• Control and Analysis: You will perform financial data control procedures, analyze deviations and help determine their causes
• Closing Processes: You will participate in the closing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial periods, coordinate related tasks and deadlines
• Process Improvement: You will evaluate reporting processes, provide suggestions on how to simplify, automate and strengthen control
• Collaboration: You will work with the finance team and other departments of the company, help ensure smooth data collection and information exchange
• Audit and Inquiries: You will prepare information for internal and external audits, respond to financial reporting related queries

• Have a higher education in finance, accounting, economics or a similar field
• Have at least 5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting or control
• You have a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and are able to apply them in practice
• You are meticulous, analytical and able to work with large amounts of data
• Have good skills in working with MS Excel, and experience in working with accounting or business management systems would be an advantage (Navison, SAP)
• Have experience in an insurance or other financial sector company (would be an advantage)
• Able to work independently, plan work, meet deadlines and cooperate with different teams
• Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills.

Salary: from 4000 - 5100 Eur (before taxes) depending on the employee's competencies and experience.
