We are the stevedoring joint-stock company "Klaipėdos Smeltė" - a modern and dynamic sea freight company in the port of Klaipėda, belonging to an international company managing a network of container terminals.
In order to strengthen the finance team, we invite you to join us FINANCIAL ANALYST, who will contribute to the analysis of financial data, justification of business decisions and increasing the efficiency of the company's financial activities.
In this position, you will work closely with the CFO and other departments, analyze performance results, prepare financial forecasts and provide insights that help make informed decisions.
In order to strengthen the finance team, we invite you to join us FINANCIAL ANALYST, who will contribute to the analysis of financial data, justification of business decisions and increasing the efficiency of the company's financial activities.
In this position, you will work closely with the CFO and other departments, analyze performance results, prepare financial forecasts and provide insights that help make informed decisions.
What would be the nature of your work:
- You will prepare and analyze the company's financial statements, ensuring their accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
- You will analyze the financial results of the operation, key performance and financial indicators and budget execution.
- You will prepare financial forecasts, budgets and perform scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- You will assess the efficiency of business operations based on KPI indicators and provide data-based recommendations for process and cost optimization.
- You will actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of financial analysis methodology, reporting structure and analytical tools, in order to increase the quality of financial data, analysis efficiency and decision-making value in the organization.
What we expect:
- Higher education in finance, economics, accounting or business.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or financial planning.
- Excellent MS Excel skills (financial models, pivot tables, formulas).
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide clear insights.
- Initiative, receptiveness and desire to improve processes.
- Analytical thinking, diligence, responsibility and ability to structure information.
- Ability to independently plan work and work in a team.
- Good knowledge of English.
