In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Management of the activities and team of the Finance Department – planning, organization and control of the department’s activities, setting employee performance goals, motivating and developing them.
  • LRT financial planning and analysis – assessment of LRT’s financial capabilities, analysis of financial and economic activities, organization of the preparation of a strategic financial activity plan and annual income and expenditure estimates.
  • Ensuring financial reporting and accountability – preparation of LRT financial reports, estimates execution and program strategy execution reports and their submission to the LRT Council, the Ministry of Finance and other institutions.
  • Financial control and efficient use of resources – organization and improvement of internal financial control procedures, control of the execution of LRT program and project estimates and submission of proposals for the efficient use of financial resources.
  • Control of LRT financial obligations and decisions – control of debtor and creditor obligations and settlements, assessment of contracts and other documents from a financial perspective and submission of financial conclusions and proposals.
  • Strengthening financial management processes and financial competence – improving planning and reporting processes, preparing and updating documents related to financial and economic activities, consulting management and LRT departments, and organizing training.

We hope you will have:

  • Higher education with a master's degree (in economics, finance or other related fields);
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the field of finance - experience in a similar size, complex organization would be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of managerial work experience in a financial/economic analysis or similar unit;
  • Understanding of the organization's financial and management processes;
  • Knowledge of the principles of budgeting, planning and control;
  • Knowledge of the principles of pricing and financial evaluation;
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex processes;
  • Excellent reasoning, smooth communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to organize the work of other people, involve and motivate team members;
  • Result orientation, ability to see not only the task being performed, but also the value being created for the organization
  • Excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language and ability to communicate in English;
  • Excellent Excel skills, work experience with FABIS, VBAMS, Doclogix programs - an advantage.

Salary for this position: from 6,000 to 7,200 EUR/month (excluding taxes, depending on experience and competencies) + bonuses depending on performance.
