Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for a Finance Manager to take on day-to-day responsibility for financial operations and management reporting, working directly with the CFO and helping to build the finance function of a growing international business.
We are more interested in what you can do and how you think than how many years you have worked in a specific role. You may already be a Finance Manager, or you may be looking to take the next step from a strong background in accounting, financial reporting or a similar field. A solid technical background and the ability to take responsibility are key.

• You will lead the weekly and monthly financial close, balance sheet reconciliation and financial reporting.
• You will administer revenue, cost and accruals accounting, review accounts payable and prepare payment lists for CFO approval.
• You will oversee country and brand profit/loss (P&L) statements, profitability calculations
• You will analyze financial data and translate it into clear commercial insights, helping the business make informed decisions.
• You will review the transaction processing and accounting performed by the Accounting Assistant, ensuring quality and consistency of work.
• You will improve financial processes, controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) together with the CFO and external financial consultant, implementing better systems and reporting solutions.

We do not expect you to know every system or process from day one. During the adaptation, you will receive support in familiarizing yourself with the financial operating model, reporting processes and systems - responsibilities will grow along with the maturity of the function.

A person with a higher education in finance, accounting or a related field:

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience working with balance sheets, reconciliations, accruals, P&L reports and month-end close.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to follow issues through to resolution.
• Clear communication skills and good English language skills.
• Live in Lithuania and be able to work regularly from our Vilnius office, using a flexible hybrid model.

• Experience with Xero, A2X or similar accounting/e-commerce financial systems.
• Experience in a multinational, cross-country or e-commerce environment.
• Experience with management reporting, profitability analysis, process improvement or automation.
• Experience reviewing or supporting the work of another member of the finance/accounting team.
