Your responsibilities:
- organize, coordinate and ensure smooth operation of assigned branded and franchised stores/bakeries (about 10 stores) in the Samogitia region;
- maintain business relations and create a good atmosphere with the working staff;
- ensure the required number of employees: creatively search, select, train new team members, monitor work schedules;
- lead the team - motivate, develop, inspire and help achieve common goals;
- strive for growth in store turnover and profitability through high quality customer service and active sales;
- ensure that stores always have a sufficient amount of goods, order and cleanliness;
- control product balances, orders and the implementation of promotional campaigns or sales;
- analyze sales and cost data, provide insights and suggestions for improving operations;
- monitor operational documentation, prepare store activity reports;
- monitor the competitive environment and ensure our leadership in the bakery channel.
We hope you:
- have experience in leading a team in retail, network management or the HoReCa sector;
- are able to make decisions independently, manage several processes at the same time and take responsibility for the results;
- understand what motivates people, know how to inspire, involve and grow them;
- are proactive, communicative and goal-oriented;
- have internal discipline, are able to plan, maintain order and ensure control;
- have a driver's license and like to travel around Lithuania (mobile work);
- are excellent at using a computer, are able to analyze data and make decisions based on facts;

Although it was founded in 1953, we associate the revival of the company with 2001, when it was privatized by the Kurganov family, which until now has been wholeheartedly involved in the life of "Biržai duonas".
We are famous for rye sourdough bread, the production process of which often takes more than 3 days. Creativity has followed "Biržų duona" from the very beginning, so the assortment includes a rich palette of traditional Lithuanian baked goods, handmade desserts, delicacies inspired by foreign traditions.
We also bake products suitable for Gluten Free and KETO diets.
"Biržai duona" loves and protects its environment. The bakery uses clean, locally produced solar energy. It is also equipped with modern thermal energy saving technology, with the help of which the energy released during the cooking process is collected and reused. The special leaven created by our technologists allows us to use non-marketable breads for the production of other breads and thus give them a second life.
