- Ensure the control of the technical maintenance of the company's automatic fire detection, signaling, extinguishing and smoke removal systems.
- Organize and carry out periodic inspections of primary fire extinguishing equipment, evacuation routes, fire doors and production areas.
- Control increased fire risk work, hot work, issue permits for hot work and supervise the activities of contractors, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
- Prepare, administer and constantly update fire safety documentation, inspection logs, instructions and other mandatory documents in accordance with the current legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Cooperate with the company's departments, contractors and state supervisory authorities, representing the company on fire safety issues.
- Contribute to strengthening the safety culture in the company, submit proposals for process improvement and implementation of preventive measures.
We hope you
- You have a higher engineering or technological education (education in fire safety engineering would be an advantage).
- You have a valid certificate of the fire safety training program for company managers and responsible persons.
- You have accumulated at least 2 years of work experience in the field of fire safety in a manufacturing or industrial company.
- You are well versed in the legal acts and requirements regulating fire safety in the Republic of Lithuania.
- You have experience in organizing large-scale evacuations and maintaining complex engineering fire extinguishing systems.
- You are responsible, principled, prompt, and able to make decisions independently.
- You have good organizational, communication and cooperation skills.
- We will consider your experience in the field of continuous improvement/LEAN, knowledge of the principles and tools of this methodology and the ability to apply them in daily activities as an advantage.
