Your responsibilities:
- Help your department and team achieve set goals (lead the Final Assembly Line team).
- Participate in employee selection and ensure the required number of employees.
- In cooperation with other team leaders in the department, create a work schedule for your team and ensure that the right people are used to achieve the goals.
- Assign tasks to employees and ensure their rotation, be familiar with work instructions and quality standards.
- Inform the assembly, production engineering and technical support manager about work results, quality, scope, distribution and any deviations; take action to prevent deviations, as well as discuss department results, opportunities to improve processes and ways to solve problems.
- Implement and ensure the highest standards of health and safety, report accidents or unsafe situations and resolve them (if possible).
- Ensure effective internal communication with the team and consult on work issues, create a friendly work environment in which employees would like to help each other.
- Ensure that agreed maintenance work is carried out and conditions are created for structural maintenance work.
- Set a good example: take the initiative in streamlining processes, encourage your team to make suggestions for improvements and implement them together.
- Perform other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.
This job requires:
- higher or vocational education;
- at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing company as a shift manager, team leader or similar position (management experience on an assembly line is a great advantage);
- experience working with a production management program (SAP is a great advantage);
- LEAN knowledge (advantage);
- ability to take responsibility for oneself and one's team;
- good planning and organizational skills, ability to set priorities and ensure that tasks are completed on time;
- good communication skills when working in a team;
- results-oriented and motivated to work;
- fluent in Lithuanian and English (oral and written).
