Nature of work
We are looking for a production department foreman whose responsibilities would be:
- Preparation of production plans and control of their implementation;
- Efficient organization of the work of the production department (10-15 employees), ensuring timely and quality-compliant implementation of production plans;
- Knowledge of the technical and technological process of production, supervision, control, problem solving;
- Team formation, development, motivation, involvement of subordinate employees;
- Analysis of production results, preparation of daily and monthly reports and submission to management;
- Ensuring an orderly, clean and safe environment of the department, purposeful use of inventory and equipment;
- Manage subordinate employees and communicate with managers of other departments.
Essential competencies
- Knowledge of metals and metalworking technologies, ability to read/analyze product drawings;
- Good planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to be a leader, motivate a team, coordinate its activities and promptly solve emerging challenges;
- Responsibility, logical and analytical thinking;
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make strategic decisions to improve production processes;
- Computer literacy;
- Knowledge of Russian and English;
- Knowledge of safety rules and best practices in the field of production.
Education and work experience
- Higher/advanced degree in engineering, metalworking, technical or related field;
- Work experience in metalworking for at least 1 year;
