Nature of work:
- planning of production capacity, personnel, equipment and raw material requirements;
- preparation and adjustment of short-term and medium-term production schedules;
- comparison of plan and actual execution, analysis of deviation reasons;
- data entry and maintenance in the ERP / production planning system;
- coordination of material availability and order deadlines with purchases and the warehouse;
- risk assessment of production load, inventory and possible deficiencies;
- regular communication of plans and priorities to related departments.

Important for this position:
- higher or higher education in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, management or related field;
- good analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data and make decisions based on numbers;
- ability to quickly respond to changes in production, orders or raw materials and promptly adjust plans;
- responsibility, diligence, systematic thinking and ability to manage priorities;
- good communication and collaboration skills, ability to smoothly coordinate actions with production, purchasing, warehouse, sales and other departments;
- good skills in working with MS Excel; experience in working with ERP or production planning systems would be an advantage.

"Biržų duona" is one of the oldest and largest bread bakeries in the Lithuanian capital.
Although it was founded in 1953, we associate the revival of the company with 2001, when it was privatized by the Kurganov family, which until now has been wholeheartedly involved in the life of "Biržai duonas".
We are famous for rye sourdough bread, the production process of which often takes more than 3 days. Creativity has followed "Biržų duona" from the very beginning, so the assortment includes a rich palette of traditional Lithuanian baked goods, handmade desserts, delicacies inspired by foreign traditions.
We also bake products suitable for Gluten Free and KETO diets.
"Biržai duona" loves and protects its environment. The bakery uses clean, locally produced solar energy. It is also equipped with modern thermal energy saving technology, with the help of which the energy released during the cooking process is collected and reused. The special leaven created by our technologists allows us to use non-marketable breads for the production of other breads and thus give them a second life.
