Nature of work

  • Organize and ensure uninterrupted heat energy production process.
  • Manage the operation of heat equipment (steam up to 4 MPa and water heating boilers over 110℃, boilers fired with gas, solid fuel and heat supply networks up to 500 mm and larger) divided by the energy company, be responsible for organizing the operation of the company's or building's heat equipment, be responsible for the operation of the consumer's combustible gas system.
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of boiler rooms and heat production equipment.
  • Plan production volumes, fuel demand and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with employee safety, environmental protection and energy legislation.
  • Manage the team of employees of the unit (work organization, control, motivation).
  • Prepare reports, participate in modernization and investment projects.

Employee requirements

  • Must have at least a higher university education in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering, transport engineering, environmental engineering or physics, chemistry, geology, physical sciences and have obtained a qualification degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the field of heat production / energy.
  • Supervised work experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of heat production technological processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the energy sector.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, responsibility, organization.
  • Must be certified by a certification attestation institution in accordance with Order No. 7 of 2012 of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania. 1-220 "Description of the Procedure for Certification of Energy Workers" (new version from : No. 1-423, , published in the Official Gazette on , i. k. , with subsequent amendments and supplements) and have an energy certificate(s) granting the right to organize the operation of heat installations (up to 50 MW capacity, power plants, boiler rooms and heat supply networks), to organize the operation of heat consumption equipment of an enterprise or building, Have certificates of a medium-pressure boiler maintenance master, steam and hot water pipeline maintenance master, pressure vessel maintenance master and steam boilers up to 1.4 MPa pressure and water heating boilers up to 24 MW capacity adjuster.
