Your duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth and efficient organization of production processes and implementation of production goals in two production units – Kaunas and Jonava.
- Lead the production team, strengthen its competencies, develop a culture of responsibility and cooperation.
- Analyze production indicators, identify improvement opportunities and initiate changes.
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D, supply and other teams in implementing new technological solutions.
- Initiate and implement projects for process standardization, automation, and implementation of artificial[GM1.1] intelligence (AI) solutions.
- Ensure that growing production is ready for increasing volumes and new product development.
- Be responsible for production results, including productivity, cost, quality, OEE, raw material utilization efficiency, occupational safety and execution of production plans.
- Create an environment where employees take responsibility, actively show initiative, offer ideas, and constantly seek better solutions.[
What do we expect from you:
- Higher education in biotechnology, engineering, production management or another related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading a production or operations department.
- A practical (“hands-on”) approach when working in a growing and changing organization – being able not only to create a strategy and initiate changes, but also to actively participate in their implementation together with the team.
- Good data analysis and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma or other performance improvement methodologies and experience in practical application.
- Ability to see not only the problem, but also its solution.
- Willingness to learn, experiment and look for new ways to create value.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, allowing you to work effectively in an international environment (B2 level or higher).
