Production Manager (Salting-Smoking Department)

We are looking for a responsible, proactive and experienced Production Manager who would ensure the smooth operation of the salting-smoking unit, organize production processes, lead the team and contribute to increasing production efficiency.

Your responsibilities:
Organize and coordinate the daily activities of the salting-smoking unit;
Plan production processes and ensure their effective implementation;
Manage a team of about 40 employees and shift managers, organize their work and develop competencies;
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, hygiene and employee safety requirements;
Control production indicators, raw material and production accounting;
Cooperate with other company departments to ensure a smooth production process;
Initiate and implement projects to improve and streamline production processes;
Contribute to increasing production efficiency, reducing losses, improving quality indicators and increasing employee engagement.

You have a university or higher education in food technology, food safety, food quality, veterinary medicine, biology or another related field;
You have at least 3 years of managerial experience in a food production company;
You are familiar with the principles of HACCP, food safety and quality assurance;
You are able to plan work, make decisions and effectively organize team activities;
You are able to motivate a team, resolve conflict situations and make quick decisions in a dynamic production environment;
You have experience working with ERP systems (Navision or others) - an advantage;
You are responsible, proactive and result-oriented;
You work well with a computer (MS Office).

The salting and smoking department carries out salting, smoking and primary processing of various fish products. It works with mackerel, pike and other fish products.

Salary: 2,500–3,300 EUR gross/month.
The exact salary will depend on your competence and professional experience.

Working hours – Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00 (if necessary, adapting to production processes).
