Nature of work
MB "Iron Solutions" is a metal construction manufacturing company in Dūkštosi, Vilnius district. We design, manufacture and install railings, stairs, fences, canopies, outdoor furniture and individual metal structures. We work with the largest Lithuanian construction contractors and real estate developers: "KAITA group", "Hanner", "EIKA", "NARESTA", "GILESTA".
The entire process takes place in our workshop: cutting, bending, rolling, welding and powder coating. The team is small, decisions are made quickly, without long coordination chains.
We are looking for someone who would take over the production helm: plan work, distribute tasks and ensure that products leave the workshop on time and as designed.
What will you do:

We are looking for someone who would take over the production helm: plan work, distribute tasks and ensure that products leave the workshop on time and as designed.
What will you do:
- plan the workshop work schedule for the week and distribute tasks to the production team (welders, painter, support workers);
- read drawings, prepare production tasks and bills of materials;
- order materials, monitor their balances and warehouse;
- control product quality and deadlines, monitor the quality of welding seams;
- coordinate production with the manager, project manager and installers at the facilities;
- monitor order in the workshop, the condition of equipment and employee safety;
- help estimate production time and material quantities for new requests.
Employee requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in managing metal production, a welding shop or a brigade.
- Ability to read drawings fluently, knowledge of metal profiles and materials.
- Understanding of welding processes (MIG/MAG, TIG).
- Ability to manage several objects at the same time and not miss deadlines.
- Responsibility and independence: here no one will stand behind and tell you what to do next.
- Computer literacy (e-mail, Excel, production accounting system).
- Lithuanian language. Russian would be an advantage when communicating with part of the team.
- Category B driver's license.
Advantages:
- experience working with construction contractors and real estate developers;
- Basics of AutoCAD or SolidWorks;
- Knowledge of the powder coating process;
- Welder qualification certificate.
