Our Finance team in Vilnius is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant. In this position, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate distribution of client invoices and payments, monitoring debts, and communicating with suppliers and customers. You will ensure efficient execution of incoming payments processes and resolve internal and external inquiries, guided by the organization's values and principles of responsibility.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Manage and maintain customer and financial transaction data, ensuring its accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Record bank and self-service terminal payments, administer customer payments, verify funds received, allocate them, and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor customer debts, communicate with customers and suppliers regarding timely payments, and help reduce risks associated with delays.
- Issuance of sales invoices to customers.
- Create/edit Suppliers in accordance with established internal control requirements.
- Create and update credit limits, risk data, and related records.
- Participate in month-end closing, audits, internal control processes, and risk management activities.
- Analyze O2C process data, provide suggestions for process improvement, and contribute to system implementation and other projects.
ABOUT YOU
To successfully work in this position, you will need:
- Higher education in accounting, business administration, finance or a related field.
- At least 2 years of general work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting for incoming amounts.
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian and basic knowledge of English (A2 level).
- Knowledge of SAP, Navision, Concur, Basware, Coupa and Manage Engine systems is an advantage.
- Experience in Service Centers (Shared Services) and/or the automotive sector is an advantage.
- Experience working in an international environment.
