Geologist

UAB Tyrimų laboratorija is an accredited research company that conducts research in various fields, not only in geology. We are expanding our activities, therefore we are looking for a leading geologist who would prepare geological reports and help the company start operations in new areas of geology.

Job description:

Preparation and verification of engineering geological (geotechnical) research reports;
Analysis and interpretation of field and laboratory soil research data;
Search, evaluation and development of new areas of geology where UAB Tyrimų laboratorija does not yet operate;
Development and implementation of new research methodologies and procedures;
Consulting and communication with customers, designers and partners.

Work location: remotely or in our office in Kretinga, on the Lithuanian coast.
Workload: full-time or possible part-time work.

The job is also suitable for foreigners who speak English, knowledge of Lithuanian is not required. We invite foreign specialists to come and live and work on the Lithuanian coast!

UAB Tyrimų laboratorija is an accredited testing company working in various fields, not only geology. Full-time or part-time (0.5 FTE) work is possible. The position is also open to English-speaking foreign candidates – knowledge of Lithuanian is not required. We invite foreign specialists to live and work on the Lithuanian seaside!

Higher education in geology or geotechnical sciences. A geologist diploma is required, candidates without it will not be considered;
At least 1 year of experience in preparing geological research reports;
It is necessary to have good knowledge of geological and geotechnical standards and legal acts (LST EN 1997 (Eurocode 7), LST EN ISO 14688, LST EN ISO 14689, LST EN ISO 22476-1:2023);
Lithuanian or English at a working level;
Good computer skills;
Independence, responsibility and the ability to organize one's work while working remotely.

Full-time salary from 1300 to 1900 EUR in hand, depending on competence and experience;
Candidates who will work in our office in Kretinga are offered a higher salary;
