You are in this position
- Develop visual concepts and design solutions for various university projects – conferences, events, publications, faculty initiatives and other activities.
- Design printed and digital marketing materials: posters, leaflets, presentations, banners, invitations, etc.
- Communicate with colleagues from various university departments, help them clearly formulate the task and propose the most suitable design solutions.
- Contribute to the implementation of larger marketing campaigns in cooperation with the marketing team and external creative agencies.
- Ensure consistent application of VMU visual identity in various projects.
- Contribute to the development of visual guidelines and templates.
- Organize your work and ensure that design solutions are implemented on time.
We hope you
- At least 4 years of graphic design experience.
- Strong graphic design and layout skills.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experienced in Figma.
- Familiar with prepress requirements.
- Able to make design decisions independently and justify your choices.
- Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with colleagues from different fields.
- Have a portfolio that demonstrates the diversity of your work.
We will consider it an advantage if
- You have experience working with educational, cultural or public sector organizations.
- You know how to create simple animations or motion graphics.
- You are interested in visual communication trends.

Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is looking for a graphic designer to join the newly established VMU Marketing Department and take care of VMU’s visual communication. We expect not only excellent design skills, but also the ability to understand the needs of colleagues, offer the most suitable solutions and justify their choices.
