GBY Group of Companies () is looking for a strategic thinker, highly professional and hands-on practitioner to join the rapidly growing GBY Group of Companies, which manages international transportation, vehicle sales and rental, real estate investment and management businesses.
FUNCTIONS
- Lead the budgeting process, prepare annual and project budgets, short-term and long-term financial forecasts;
- Manage the cash flows of the group companies (at the strategic and operational level), working capital, liquidity and inventory management;
- Ensure cost efficiency and cost control, analyze the profitability of businesses and projects;
- Manage financial, operational and compliance risks, ensure a reliable internal control system;
- Prepare and analyze internal and external financial statements (including consolidated), provide timely, clear information to shareholders and the board;
- Analyze and monitor key financial and operational KPIs, perform variance analysis, monitor compliance with covenants set by banks and provide recommendations to management;
- Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and ensure accurate calculation of profit centers and project profitability;
- Supervise internal and external audits, ensure compliance with legal acts, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements;
- Ensure smooth preparation and submission of tax (including VAT), statutory reporting;
- Cooperate with banks, auditors, STI, Sodra and other institutions, represent the company in negotiations on financing, loans and credit lines;
- Coordinate activities with the group's external partners (accountants, auditors, banks) in Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany;
- Lead a 20-person finance, accounting and analytics team (Vilnius and Tauragė), ensure a high level of competence and team efficiency;
- Ensure effective operation of daily financial accounting processes (invoices, bank reconciliations and payments);
- Initiate the digitization, automation and optimization of financial and accounting processes, eliminating duplication.
REQUIREMENTS
- Higher education in finance, economics, accounting or business;
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in the position of CFO, financial manager or chief financial officer;
- Experience in corporate group accounting, intergroup pricing and international accounting standards (IFRS);
- Experience in the transport/logistics sector;
- Experience in improving financial processes in a rapidly growing company;
- Excellent knowledge in the fields of budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, taxes and Lithuanian legislation;
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and leadership skills;
- Ability to reasonedly influence strategic decisions and closely cooperate with business leaders;
- Ability to transform financial data into clear insights and specific recommendations for business leaders;
- Experience in creating, leading and developing an effectively functioning finance team;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under conditions of uncertainty, maintaining structure, attention to detail and control;
- High ethical, transparent and professional standards;
- Experience with Power BI is considered an advantage;
- Fluent in Lithuanian and English (oral and written).
