We are currently actively expanding the company, we invite GROUP MANAGER(-Ê) to join the team.
Nature of work:
- Develop a tarpaulin cargo expedition in the Western European market, working with external carriers and spot market offers;
- Actively search for cargo and transport opportunities;
- Ensure efficient use of transport, be able to plan, re-plan and direct trucks to where they can generate the best result;
- Create and develop a new expedition group from scratch: select people, help them grow, develop competencies and form a results-based work culture;
- Set goals for the team, monitor results and help achieve them even in difficult market conditions;
- Analyze market changes, look for new opportunities, propose ideas and initiatives that will help grow the expedition's activities.
Requirements:
- Specific work experience in forwarding cargo with curtain side semi-trailers, working with wheeled or own tractors;
- Knowledge of the curtain side cargo market in Western Europe: specifics, carrier network and spot market principles;
- Practical experience in working with external carriers, finding cargo and transport solutions and managing expedition processes from start to finish;
- Ability to grow an expedition team: bring people together, set clear goals, develop competencies and achieve a common result;
- Knowledge of Lithuanian and English, German, French or another foreign language would be an advantage;
- Communicative skills, initiative, courage and striving for the best result.
