The most modern and largest mushroom farm in the Baltic region, UAB "Baltic Champs", is strengthening its team and inviting a mushroom quality and process manager to join.
Nature of work
Ensuring high quality of fresh mushrooms at all stages of production management after harvest - from receiving the product from production units to its shipment to customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality control of fresh mushrooms.
- Assess compliance of production with standards and customer requirements.
- Identify quality discrepancies and initiate their elimination.
- Analyze defects and make proposals for quality improvement.
- Monitor the implementation of quality procedures and documentation.
- Prepare quality reports and analyze indicators.
- Organize employee training on quality issues.
- Participate in audits and customer inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Global G.A.P. and other standards.
Employee requirements
- higher/higher education (food technology, quality management, biology, agronomy or related field - an advantage);
- ability to independently make decisions, plan and coordinate processes;
- experience in preparing procedures, work instructions and other quality documentation;
- smooth and clear communication, ability to organize employee training and ensure compliance with quality requirements;
- good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook);
- category B driver's license;
- English language skills at least B1 level (for communication with customers, auditors and suppliers).
