Employee requirements
Education: completed professional training program for a therapeutic massage specialist or studies in physiotherapy (higher or higher education)'
Knowledge of massage methodology and technique;
Knowledge of the basics of human anatomy, physiology and pathology;
Ability to apply massage according to doctor's prescriptions;
First aid skills;
Personal qualities: responsibility, attentiveness, diligence, ability to communicate with patients of all ages, teamwork skills;
Advantage - work experience in a treatment or rehabilitation institution.

Nature of work
Working hours are adjusted according to the candidate's capabilities.
Performs therapeutic, preventive and rehabilitation massages for patients after injuries, operations, suffering from neurological, orthopedic, traumatological or other diseases;
Assesses the patient's condition according to the doctor's prescription, selects the most appropriate massage methodology and technique;
Performs classical, segmental, reflexotherapy, lymphatic drainage, sports or other types of massage according to medical indications;
Cooperates with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses and other members of the rehabilitation team;
Informs the patient about the course of the procedure, its effects and possible reactions;
Fulfills the patient's health safety, hygiene and infection control requirements;
Completes medical documentation in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania;
Constantly improves professional knowledge and skills.
