BROLIS is a high-tech company that develops and manufactures electro-optical systems for surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting - laser designators, thermal vision systems, night vision equipment and other modern military devices, sold worldwide. We are currently recruiting for a Systems Assembly Department Manager to join our team in Vilnius, who will be responsible for leading production processes, managing the team and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Primary responsibilities
- Management of production processes: planning, organizing and controlling production, ensuring compliance with the Production Description and product assembly instructions;
- Team leadership: forming the structure of the production unit, selecting employees, drawing up work schedules, distributing tasks and constantly improving the team's competencies;
- Resource planning: forming the need for components and materials necessary for production, assessing the reliability of suppliers and ensuring rational use of resources;
- Quality control and improvement: monitoring the technological process, analyzing the causes of production defects and taking the initiative to change product design or production processes to achieve the highest quality;
- Standard compliance: ensuring that production is carried out in accordance with the requirements of ISO, AQAP, MIL-STD, IPC and other specific defense industry standards;
- Creating a safe environment: maintaining work discipline and strict implementation of work safety requirements in the production unit.
Position requirements
- Higher education in engineering, technical or management;
- Successful experience in leading a team in a manufacturing company;
- Knowledge of the principles of production process management and optimization;
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings and standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, etc.);
- Strategic thinking, ability to analyze data and make decisions on process improvement;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, result orientation and adherence to deadlines;
- High personal responsibility, integrity and ability to resolve conflict situations.
IMPORTANT: the selected candidate will have to obtain permission to work with classified information and will be required to submit a medical examination certificate regarding the ability to acquire/possess a weapon.
