Head of Direct Marketing

As an Head of Direct Marketing, you will:

· Own the direct marketing / retention strategy across the customer base, aligned with overall marketing and business goals

· Lead and develop a team responsible for email, push notifications, SMS, and related automations

· Design, build, and continuously optimize lifecycle and automation flows (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, abandoned cart, loyalty, etc.) at a company-group level

· Manage and evolve the CRM platform, including segmentation, personalization, and data hygiene Define and track key retention KPIs (repeat purchase rate, CLV, churn, engagement, revenue per channel) and report results to leadership

· Test and roll out new tactics, channels, and technologies to improve retention performance

· Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR) across all direct marketing activities

· Set best practices and processes that can scale across multiple markets/brands within the group

· 2+ years of experience in direct marketing, CRM, or retention marketing, including team leadership experience

· Proven track record managing email, push, and SMS channels and marketing automation platforms

· Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with retention KPIs and campaign performance data

· Experience with CRM/marketing tools Ability to translate data insights into actionable tactics and strategy

· Experience working across multiple markets or business units is a plus

· Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

· Fluent English

· Ecommerce or retail industry background preferred
