In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Operational Support
Compliance
Documentation & Risk Management
Incident Management & Reporting
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor production floor activities and identify risks
- Advise on H&S matters related to machinery, forklifts, automation, and chemical processes
- Verify safe systems of work (LOTOTO, machine guarding, hot work, confined spaces, lifting)
- Conduct safety walks and engage employees and contractors on safety improvements
- Verify contractor compliance with site safety rules and permit-to-work processes
- Support H&S campaigns and cross-site standardization across Northern Europe
Compliance
- Support compliance with national legislation and Heidelberg Materials standards
- Verify machine guarding, CE-marking, and Machine Regulation requirements
- Support ergonomic assessments and chemical management practices
- Assist in preparing sites for internal, external, and regulatory audits
Documentation & Risk Management
- Maintain risk assessments, work instructions, chemical inventories, and contractor documentation
- Integrate safety into Capex projects and operational planning
- Ensure H&S documentation complies with ISO 45001 requirements
Incident Management & Reporting
- Support incident and near-miss reporting and root cause analysis
- Track corrective and preventive actions
- Analyse trends and share learnings across Northern Europe
Continuous Improvement
- Identify risk reduction opportunities in production, ergonomics, and automation
- Participate in Lean/5S initiatives
- Contribute to H&S improvement projects at local and regional
We expect that you:
- HSE-related education or certifications
- 2–5 years of experience in an industrial production environment (manufacturing, machining, assembly, processing, robotics, logistics, or similar)
- Proficiency in English and local language.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and incident investigations
- Valid driver’s license (B)
