We are looking for a Senior Accountant whose main duties will be:

  • Formation of accounting policies and procedures that ensure effective financial control, implementation and management;
  • Preparation and submission of periodic financial reports to relevant institutions;
  • Organization of work, motivation, training of members of the Accounting Department team, formation of their work strategies, ensuring timely completion of tasks and implementation of performance management principles;
  • Implementation of accounting processes and continuous improvement and supervision of existing processes;
  • Timely closing of the accounting period (month, half-year, year);
  • Development and implementation of the company's internal control procedures;
  • Supervision of the preparation and submission of various financial, tax and statistical reports, declarations;
  • Organization, implementation, coordination of the audit process;
  • Identification of the need for new processes and systems, implementation and testing;
  • Tax planning and optimization to improve the efficiency of the company's financial activities;
  • Analysis of financial indicators and reporting to management based on insights and recommendations;
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, accounting and financial reporting standards;
  • Development and implementation of risk management strategies in accounting and financial management processes;
  • Cooperation with banks, auditors, state institutions and other external partners.

It is important for us:

  • Higher university education in finance, accounting or economics;
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a senior accountant position or in a similar field;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Accounting Laws of the Republic of Lithuania, tax policy, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and national standards (VAS);
  • Experience in leading an accounting team and the ability to organize team work, develop employees, and promote their motivation;
  • Ability to analyze financial data, prepare insights and provide recommendations to management;
  • Good knowledge of developing internal control procedures, risk management and audit organization;
  • Detailed knowledge of tax planning, financial analyses and their optimization;
  • Ability to independently close accounting periods (monthly, semi-annual, annual), prepare accurate and timely financial statements;
  • Good cooperation skills with colleagues and external partners;
  • Very good skills in working with Rivile and MS Excel;
  • High level of responsibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking;
  • Ability to work in intensive conditions, complete tasks on time and ensure accuracy;
  • Excellent communication skills, result orientation.
