We are looking for a Group Financial Controller who will manage the preparation of financial statements for the group of companies, analyze the margin at the cargo level and oversee cash flow forecasts. You will work directly with the CEO, Group CAO and heads of departments. We are looking for a Group Financial Controller who will manage the preparation of financial statements for the group of companies, analyze the margin at the cargo level and oversee cash flow forecasts. You will work directly with the CEO, Group CAO and heads of departments. OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION:
- Prepare monthly management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital) for the group and individual companies and present them with your insights.
- Control the integrity of the margin at the cargo level: from purchase price to final landed cost (logistics, financing, letter of credit costs, insurance, demurrage, sorting losses, exchange rate).
- Manage the 13-week cash flow forecast and key working capital indicators - inventory, receivables and payables turnover days.
- Plan the budget and rolling forecast, monitor deviations from the plan and report them before they become a fact.
- Analyze customer credit risk (letters of credit in Asian markets, Atradius insurance in the EU) and open currency positions.
- Develop analytical reports in the Power BI platform to reduce manual work and free up more time for insights and analysis.
- Participate in the evaluation of larger transactions before signing, assessing the final cost and client solvency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in financial control, management accounting, financial analysis or auditing.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities or a group of companies.
- Ability to independently prepare a report from processing initial data using Excel and Power Query tools to creating a data model in the Power BI environment.
- Experience working with an ERP system and the ability to independently extract data.
- Working level English (written and oral).
- Ability to make informed decisions independently, without subordinates, work accurately and based on data and clear reasoning.
- Character, because we speak directly. We expect you to say so when you think we are wrong and to calmly accept criticism. Influence with us is based on argument and numbers, not position.
