Nature of work
- Provide home help and day social care services in a person's home according to individual service plans.
- Assist individuals in daily life: cleaning the house, cooking, shopping, doing laundry and other household chores.
- Help maintain personal hygiene, dressing, moving, using technical assistance devices.
- Accompany to medical, educational or other institutions, help with daily affairs.
Promote and support a person's independence, social skills and active participation in the community.
- Communicate with relatives of service recipients and cooperate with social workers and other specialists.
- Fill out service provision documentation in a timely and responsible manner, comply with established work procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Ensure respectful, safe and dignified communication with each service recipient.
