Description:
We are looking for an individual care worker in a group living home for 10 adults with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities.
Main responsibilities:
- organize and accompany persons with disabilities to doctor's visits and provide them with the necessary assistance;
- assist persons with hygiene, safety and food preparation issues;
- participate in community events and activities that contribute to the integration of persons into society;
- cooperate with persons' families and implement individual plans;
- participate in residential home events, celebrations and trips;
- create a friendly environment and cozy homes.
Requirements
- qualification as an individual care worker;
- desire and ability to work with people with intellectual disabilities;
- responsibility, empathy, creativity;
- excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- ability to adapt and act dynamically;
- driver's license and desire to drive.

We operate three departments in Kaunas: Day Center, Living House and Social Workshop – 35 friends live, learn or receive services there every day. Also, the smooth operation of the organization is ensured by a team of 15 employees. The mission of the organization is to enable people with intellectual disabilities to reveal their potential through community.
