Description:
We are looking for an individual care specialist in a newly established community living home for 10 adults with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities.
Main responsibilities:
- assist persons with disabilities in their daily lives:
- organize and accompany persons with disabilities to doctor's visits and provide them with the necessary assistance;
- assist persons with hygiene, safety and food preparation issues;
- participate in community events and activities that contribute to the inclusion of persons in society;
- cooperate with persons' families and implement individual plans;
- participate in residential home events, celebrations and trips;
- create a friendly environment and cozy homes.
Requirements
- qualification of an individual care worker;
- desire and ability to work with people with intellectual disabilities;
- responsibility, empathy, creativity;
- excellent communication and cooperation skills;
- ability to adapt and act dynamically;
- driver's license and desire to drive.
