Nature of work

  • to develop, maintain and continuously improve the Company's information security management system (ISMS), ensuring compliance with the Group's policy, ISO/IEC 27001 requirements and applicable legislation;
  • to initiate and coordinate information and cyber security risk assessment, prepare risk management measures plans and control their implementation;
  • to organize the information security and cyber incident management process (incident registration, analysis, response, communication and reporting to responsible authorities);
  • to establish information security and personal data protection requirements for projects, information systems, services and purchases, ensuring their consistent implementation;.
  • to develop, supervise and coordinate the application of access management, vulnerability management, secure configuration, monitoring (SIEM/SOC) and response measures in the Company;
  • to plan and implement information security training, testing and awareness measures, assess the level of employee knowledge and initiate additional training;
  • ensure compliance with cybersecurity legal requirements, coordinate and/or participate in audits, maintain relations with Group functions and other supervisory authorities, prepare reports for management;
  • coordinate the development of internal procedures, participate in public procurement, implement infrastructure and systems modernization projects and other position functions related to information security management.

Employee requirements

  • higher education in information technology, cybersecurity, informatics, engineering or a related field;
  • experience in the field of information and (or) cybersecurity: implementation or maintenance of ISMS, risk and incident management, planning, implementation and maintenance of security measures;
  • knowledge of cybersecurity areas: risk management, incident management, access management, network and system security, data protection;
  • ability to prepare clear and structured documents (policies, procedures, processes, instructions, reports) and present them to different stakeholders;
  • understanding of the legal regulation of information and cybersecurity in Lithuania and the EU (e.g. TIS2, Cybersecurity Law);
  • excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language; English - at least B2 level.

Advantages:

  • experience in implementing or maintaining ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001 or equivalent standards;
  • experience in implementing, developing and maintaining information technology, telecommunications, cybersecurity and technological management systems for industrial or manufacturing infrastructure;
  • experience in working with critical infrastructure, essential information infrastructure systems and their security requirements;
  • certifications proving competence, such as CISM, CISSP or similar.

The operator of the electricity storage system Energy cells is responsible for the management of the electricity storage system with a capacity of 200 megawatts (MW) and a capacity of 200 megawatt-hours (MWh). The system of four battery parks provides the Lithuanian energy system with an isolated power reserve service.

100 percent of the shares of Energy cells belong to EPSO-G.

EPSO-G is a state-owned energy transmission and exchange group of companies, which consists of the parent management company UAB EPSO-G and five directly controlled companies AB Litgrid, AB Amber Grid, UAB Baltpool, UAB Tetas, UAB Energy cells and indirectly controlled UAB GET Baltic. The rights and obligations of the sole shareholder of EPSO-G are implemented by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.
