Information Systems (IS) Administrator

NARBUTAS is currently looking for an Information Systems (IS) Administrator who will be responsible for the stable operation of information systems, incident management, and ensuring system maintenance and improvement processes, in order to ensure smooth organizational processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND GOALS:

• Investigation and resolution of incidents and orders.
• Responsibility for the reliable operation of information systems and initiation of preventive actions.
• Continuous monitoring of system status, performance analysis and risk identification and elimination, trend analysis and recommendations for resource optimization.
• Resolving operational failures using standardized procedures and management tools, and improving them for more effective incident management.
• Performing scheduled maintenance tasks: updates, backups, recovery testing, in compliance with security requirements.
• Ensuring the accuracy of configuration data.
• Documenting processes and continuously improving them to ensure stable system operation and compliance with business needs.

FOR SUCCESSFUL WORK YOU WILL NEED:

• At least 5 years of experience in maintaining and implementing solutions with production information systems (e.g. Equinox, Siemens Opcenter (Preactor), etc.) and working with MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB and MySQL databases.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in using and configuring monitoring tools Zabbix and Grafana (an advantage).
• Basics of Python and Bash programming languages.

SALARY:

Hourly wage: 16.03 - 20.53 €/hour excluding taxes.

Average monthly wage: 2674 - 3425 €/month excluding taxes, depending on the hours actually worked.

The organization applies cumulative working time accounting.

The final salary will depend on the experience and competencies.
