Nature of work
We are currently recruiting for an Information Systems Project Manager to join the System Management Project Group team in Vilnius. He/She will be responsible for managing projects related to the development, implementation, development and change of information systems important for the management of the electricity system, market processes and related areas of activity.
- plan, organize and coordinate information systems development, implementation, modernization and development projects;
- manage project scope, deadlines, budget, risks, changes and quality indicators;
- organize the work of the project team, ensuring a clear division of responsibilities, timely completion of tasks and effective team involvement;
- prepare and maintain documents necessary for project initiation, planning, implementation, control and completion;
- initiate and coordinate public procurement related to information systems development, implementation, development or maintenance services;
- ensure smooth communication between business units, IT teams, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders;
- coordinate the work of suppliers and external partners, ensuring the implementation of contractual obligations, project plan and quality requirements;
- monitor the progress of the project, identify deviations, propose solutions and ensure timely escalation of risks and problems;
- contribute to the improvement of project management practices, processes and documentation quality in the group.
Employee requirements
- experience in managing full-cycle information systems development, implementation, modernization or development projects;
- implemented a complex IT project, where responsibilities include managing and coordinating matrix teams: business units, IT teams and external suppliers;
- experience in preparing and managing project plans, budgets, risks, changes, project documentation and reports;
- experience in initiating, preparing or coordinating public procurement for the implementation of IT projects;
- higher university education or equivalent;
- good skills in working with MS Office suite tools;
- good knowledge of English, both oral and written;
- ability to communicate clearly, cooperate with different stakeholders and reconcile different interests;
- responsibility, organization, initiative, analytical thinking and result orientation.
Advantages:
- certificates in the field of project management;
- experience in working with MS Project or other project management tools;
- knowledge of Agile and / or Waterfall project management methodologies;
- experience in managing projects in the field of electricity or other critical infrastructure;
- experience in implementing large-scale information systems integration, data exchange or business process automation projects;
- knowledge of IT systems analysis, testing, implementation or maintenance processes.
