We invite the Head of the Information Technology Department to join the VDA team, who would take the lead in shaping the direction of the Academy's IT development, strengthening technological infrastructure and implementing digital transformation initiatives. Your solutions will directly contribute to the creation of a modern, safe and convenient digital environment for the Academy's employees, lecturers and students.

In our organization you:
- You will form and implement the IT development strategy of Vilnius Academy of Arts, ensure its compliance with security, regulatory and operational needs of the Academy;
- You will lead the IT department team, organize its activities, set priorities, plan resources and promote professional development of employees;
- You will ensure reliable, secure and efficient operation of the Academy's IT infrastructure, information systems and digital services;
- You will initiate and coordinate IT infrastructure modernization, information systems implementation, integration and digital transformation projects;
- You will identify opportunities for digitization and automation of organizational processes, propose and implement innovative technological solutions, including the application of artificial intelligence tools;
- You will ensure the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity, information protection, data backup and business continuity solutions;
- You will cooperate with the faculties and other departments of the Academy, assess their technological needs and search for the most effective IT solutions for the processes of study, research, creative and administrative activities;
- You will plan and manage the IT budget, organize the acquisition of IT goods and services, coordinate the activities of external suppliers and the execution of contracts;
- You will analyze the efficiency of IT activities, assess technological risks, and prepare proposals for the Academy management on IT development priorities and investments.
We hope you:
- You have a higher education in information technology, informatics, information systems or another related field;
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the IT field, including at least 2 years of experience in leading a team or IT projects;
- You know the principles of operation and administration of IT infrastructure, servers, computer networks, cloud technologies and information systems;
- You have experience in planning and implementing IT infrastructure modernization, system implementation or organization digitalization projects;
- You know the principles of cybersecurity, information protection, access management and business continuity and are able to apply them in practice;
- You are able to strategically plan IT development, assess the benefits of technological solutions, manage the budget and set operational priorities;
- You are able to clearly present technical solutions to colleagues from different fields, cooperate constructively and communicate in an understandable way;
- You are able to independently make decisions, analyze complex situations, foresee risks and initiate changes;
- You speak English at least at level B2.
