Nature of work
For work in the premises of the Vilnius Prison Administration (Rasų g. 8, Vilnius, 11350 Vilnius city), a Chief Specialist of the IT Department is being sought, whose main functions will be:
- to carry out the installation of computer, organizational and software equipment, organize its maintenance, ensure its functioning and proper use;
- to maintain, install and administer telephone equipment;
- to administer the computer network;
- to supervise and administer prison employees' users in the Microsoft Active Directory system;
- to supervise and administer the Service's e-mail system;
- to advise prison employees on the use and maintenance of computer equipment;
- to anticipate the needs of the prison for computer and other organizational equipment, to submit proposals for its acquisition, to ensure the updating of computer and organizational equipment;
- to ensure the confidentiality of information received during the performance of work functions;
- Maintain and administer video cameras, recorders, intercoms, alarm buttons, and software supporting access control;
- Maintain and administer computer and organizational equipment for remote meetings;
- Carry out other non-permanent assignments of the head of the department related to the functions of the department in order to achieve the operational goals of the Lithuanian Prison Service;
Employee requirements
- have a university degree or an equivalent education in informatics;
- have at least 3 years of work experience in the field of information technology;
- know how to install and configure antivirus systems, Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11), Microsoft Office applications and other programs;
- be able to work with the Microsoft Active directory system;
- be able to work with modern hardware and application software;
- be able to manage, accumulate, systematize, summarize, analyze information, perform the assigned functions based on it;
- to be able to plan and organize one's work, to work in a team and to cooperate independently and constructively;
