About the company:
Stafferty client - International University seeking Head of the Academic Department of Informatics. This is a strategic leadership position for a professional with significant academic and scientific experience in the field of Informatics and the ability to ensure high quality of studies, develop scientific activities and lead an academic team.
Main responsibilities:
- To lead the activities and team of the Academic Department of Informatics.
- To ensure the quality of Informatics study programs, scientific activities and academic processes.
- To coordinate the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Informatics study programs.
- To plan the activities and budget of the department and ensure the implementation of the intended goals.
- To organize academic processes and ensure their compliance with the Lithuanian higher education and quality requirements.
- To coordinate the improvement of the qualification of teachers and the strengthening of academic competence.
- To cooperate with the university management, social partners, business representatives and external institutions.
- To initiate and implement academic development and research projects.
We hope you:
- You have a PhD in computer science or a related field.
- You have significant academic and scientific experience in the field of computer science.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in academic administrative activities.
- You are well-versed in the Lithuanian higher education system and its legal regulations.
- You have experience in leading a team and implementing changes.
- You are able to plan strategically, make decisions and achieve results.
- You communicate fluently in Lithuanian, English and Russian.
- You are able to build partnerships and effectively cooperate with the academic community, business partners and other stakeholders.
