The State Research Institute of Physical and Technological Sciences (FTMC) is looking for an Innovation Manager to join the Innovation and Technology Department team and contribute to the market application of technologies developed by FTMC and the creation of new opportunities for science and business partnerships.

In this position, you will work with advanced technologies and research results, help identify their commercial potential, initiate cooperation with business partners and contribute to the commercialization of technologies and intellectual property management.

You will work with technologies developed by FTMC in areas such as advanced materials, nanotechnology, photonics, laser technology, semiconductors and biotechnology.

Place of work - Saulėtekio al. 3, Vilnius.

Key features:

  • Assess the commercial potential, technology readiness level (TRL) and market application possibilities of scientific research results and inventions;
  • Initiate and develop cooperation with business partners, identify technology application possibilities;
  • Participate in negotiations on R&D services, technology licensing and science-business partnership projects;
  • Manage the assigned intellectual property portfolio and contribute to its commercialization strategy;
  • Perform market and technology analysis in order to identify possible directions of technology application;
  • Consult scientists and researchers on issues of technology transfer, innovation development and commercialization;
  • Organize seminars and trainings that promote innovation creation and technology transfer;
  • Monitor the progress of technology transfer and commercialization activities and prepare reports.

Basic requirements:

  • Higher university education in the field of natural or technological sciences;
  • Knowledge of intellectual property management, technology transfer or innovation commercialization;
  • Good negotiation, communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to analyze technologies and their market application possibilities;
  • Ability to systematize information and clearly present conclusions;
  • Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and English (English at least B2 level).

Salary

1400-1600 €/mon. net
The final salary is determined individually, taking into account the candidate's experience and competencies.
