We invite you to join the team of instructors at Lithuanian airports. We are currently looking for someone who would contribute to the development of aerodrome safety competencies of our company and partners. This is a technical and operational training position, which will require independent development of training programs and materials, conducting theoretical and practical training, assessing employee knowledge and conducting certification. Training topics include aerodrome transport and special equipment management, operational work at the aerodrome, runway condition assessment, aerodrome visual aids, dangerous goods and other areas related to aerodrome safety. Due to the nature of this position, this job is most suitable for those with experience in technical, operational or aviation training.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- prepare and update aerodrome safety training materials based on the documents regulating this area;
- compile and update the aerodrome safety training program as needed;
- plan and conduct theoretical and practical training for employees of Lithuanian airports (VNO, KUN and PLQ) and external aviation sector companies;
- conduct employee certification in a theoretical and practical manner (tests, practical tasks);
- administer the distance learning program;
- conduct periodic assessment of the qualification level of employees in the departments of Lithuanian airports;
- organize additional training (in Lithuanian and English) if necessary;
- participate in safety activities at Lithuanian airports aerodromes.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- at least 2 years of work experience in the field of training and/or work experience in the aviation sector;
- experience in conducting, developing or organizing training, instructing others (advantage – technical training);
- fluent and clear communication, public speaking, audience communication skills;
- continuous learning and motivation to improve one's training methods and strategies;
- interest in news and trends in the aviation sector;
- higher education;
- excellent organizational and time management skills, independence, responsibility for the quality of one's work;
- good English language skills (written and oral, B1-B2 level);
- B category driver's license;
- impeccable reputation according to the requirements of the Law on Aviation of the Republic of Lithuania.
