Main responsibilities:
- Prepare locomotive and wagon repair programs and long-term forecasts, control their implementation, analyze deviations and provide proposals for improving operational efficiency
- Organize and implement planning, selection and implementation monitoring of low-value investments for ensuring and improving operations
- Administer the locomotive and wagon fleet: forecast demand, analyze usability and efficiency, provide proposals for optimization
- Monitor the value, life cycle and financial return of technological assets and initiate improvement measures
- Take care of technological asset accounting processes: participate in inventories, coordinate write-off processes, monitor asset insurance status
- Cooperate with other departments in finding effective solutions for the use of locomotives and wagons and review draft contracts related to asset management
- Ensure the application of the financial return methodology when evaluating investments and preparing business justifications
- Prepare reports, analyses and materials for decision-makers
- Contribute to the development of long-term technological asset management plans and strategies
- Coordinate current activities at the department level
What do we expect?
- Higher or higher education (preferably in the field of technology, engineering or social sciences)
- Experience in investment management, investment coordination or analytical work
- Analytical thinking, activity planning and management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- Knowledge of clerical and document preparation rules
- Fluent Lithuanian, English language skills - an advantage
- Good computer skills using the Microsoft Office program package
- Ability to work with the Microsoft Project program (an advantage)
