Every construction project starts with calculations. We are expanding our Sales team and are looking for an engineer-estimator to calculate the general construction parts of the project: architecture (SA), structures (SK) and site plan (SP). You will work in the Sales team together with the commercial proposal manager, who is responsible for preparing the entire proposal, and you will be responsible for the price of the general construction part. Estimates for engineering systems (HVAC, VN, E, SS) are prepared by other team specialists. In this position, you will:
- Summarize the information in the design documentation required for the estimate;
- Independently prepare estimates for SA, SK and SP parts for tender offers: from the analysis of the design documentation to the price of the final part;
- Check the project bill of quantities according to the drawings, and if necessary, calculate the quantities yourself;
- Search for the most economically advantageous technical solutions;
- Communicate directly with suppliers of materials and services, submit requests to subcontractors and compare their offers;
- Identify discrepancies, risks and missing information in the design documentation, prepare questions for the customer;
- Submit the price of your part to the Commercial Proposal Manager with assumptions and risk assessment.
We hope you:
- You have a higher or higher engineering education (construction engineering is a big advantage);
- You have at least 2 years of experience in independently preparing estimates for general construction parts (SA, SK, SP);
- You work with the "Astera" or "Sistela" estimate program (working with "Astera" is an advantage) and MS Excel;
- You read architectural and structural drawings, know construction technologies and work sequences;
- You think analytically and pay close attention to details;
- You are able to plan your work and meet tender deadlines;
- You communicate clearly and work smoothly in a team.
Advantages:
